Welcome back to my food blog! Today, I’m excited to share my experience at The Kati Roll Company, an Indian restaurant in New York City that has been on my radar for quite some time. As a food blogger, I’m always on the lookout for unique and delicious eats, and this place definitely delivers.
The Kati Roll Company is located at 99 Macdougal St, New York, NY 10012. This cozy Indian restaurant serves up authentic and flavorful dishes that will transport your taste buds to the streets of India. From momos to samosas to aloo tikki, their menu offers something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for spicy or mild flavors, The Kati Roll Company has got you covered!
The Momo at The Kati Roll Company is an absolute delight. These Nepalese dumplings are filled with spiced chicken or buffalo meat, and they’re served in a flavorful broth that will leave you wanting more. I had the pleasure of trying them on my last visit, and I must say, it’s one of the best momos I’ve ever had! The combination of tender meat, crunchy veggies, and aromatic spices is simply perfect.
The Samosa at The Kati Roll Company is a masterclass in Indian cuisine. These crispy fried or baked pastries are filled with spiced potatoes, peas, and onions, and they’re served with a side of tangy chutney that adds an extra layer of flavor. I was blown away by the flaky crust and the burst of flavors inside - it’s a must-try for any samosa lover!
The Aloo Tikki at The Kati Roll Company is a game-changer. These crispy potato patties are filled with spiced potatoes, peas, and onions, and they’re served with a dollop of yogurt sauce that adds a cooling touch to the spicy flavors. I was impressed by the texture and flavor combination - it’s a perfect snack or appetizer!
The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The walls are adorned with traditional Indian artwork and decorations, adding to the cultural ambiance. The overall decor is modern and sleek, with clean lines and minimal ornamentation. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a casual dinner or special occasion.
