As a food enthusiast and restaurant blogger, I’m thrilled to share my experience at Wako Donkasu, a hidden gem in the heart of Los Angeles.
Wako Donkasu is a restaurant that truly embodies the spirit of Korean-Japanese fusion cuisine. With its cozy atmosphere, attentive service, and mouth-watering dishes, it’s no wonder this place has gained a loyal following among locals and visitors alike.
The Tonkotsu Ramen was an absolute delight! The rich pork broth was cooked to perfection, with a velvety texture that coats your tongue.
Next up was the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice Bowl, which exceeded my expectations in every way. The crispy chicken cutlet was cooked to a golden brown perfection, with a satisfying crunch that gave way to juicy meat inside.
Last but not least, I tried the Beef Teriyaki Bento Box, which featured grilled beef short ribs glazed with a sweet teriyaki sauce.
The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable seating and modern decor. The walls are painted in a soothing color scheme, and the lighting is soft and cozy. The tables are made of dark wood and have a classic design, adding to the overall ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that customers feel welcome and well taken care of. Overall, the restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience for its patrons.
Wow! I can’t believe my first review was written 11 years ago!!I still love Wako Donkasu! It’s one of those places you know the food is always consistently…
I visit Wako every few years, and they always deliver. The katsu is juicy and fried just right; this means the breading is not too hard and the meat is not…
Wako Donkatsu has a very charming interior and plenty of seating inside. It’s not too loud inside so you can enjoy a relaxing meal without much distraction…
