Walking into the King of Noodles, located at 1639 Irving St San Francisco, CA 94122 , USA, is like taking a trip to China without leaving America. This cozy Chinese restaurant serves up authentic noodle dishes that will leave you craving for more. As I stepped inside, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff who showed me to my table. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with traditional Chinese decorations adorning the walls. But it’s not just about looks - the food here is truly exceptional.
One of the standout dishes at King of Noodles is their Beef or Pork in Savory Sauce. The beef was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection in a rich and savory sauce that had me coming back for seconds (and thirds, and fourths…). The portion size was generous, but I didn’t even notice because I was too busy devouring every last bite.
I also had the pleasure of trying their Broccoli Florets Sauteed with Garlic and Ginger. This dish was a revelation - the broccoli was cooked to tender perfection, with just the right amount of crunch to it. The garlic and ginger added a depth of flavor that complemented the natural sweetness of the broccoli perfectly.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a focus on serving delicious Asian-style noodles and other dishes to customers who dine in or take out. The dining area is well-lit and clean, with tables and chairs arranged comfortably for patrons. There are also some decorative elements such as traditional Chinese artwork and plants scattered throughout the space.
