Welcome back, blog subscribers! Today, I’m excited to share my latest dining experience at Dumpling Home, a restaurant that has quickly become one of my favorites in San Francisco. Located at 298 Gough St, this cozy Asian fusion eatery is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine.
Dumpling Home is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or enjoy a leisurely meal with friends and family. The restaurant’s interior is warm and inviting, with traditional Chinese decorations and comfortable seating. But what really sets Dumpling Home apart is its commitment to using only the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
I recently had the pleasure of trying Dumpling Home’s signature Round Dumplings, and let me tell you - they did not disappoint! The dough was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. But what really made these dumplings stand out was the delicious filling, which consisted of tender pork and vegetables. I loved how the flavors were balanced and the texture of the filling complemented the dumpling wrapper perfectly.
For my main course, I opted for the Long Noodles, which came highly recommended by our server. And it’s easy to see why - these noodles were cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of firmness and softness. The flavor was rich and savory, with just the right amount of seasoning. What really impressed me, though, was the generous portion size - I left feeling full but not stuffed.
One of the standout dishes at Dumpling Home is undoubtedly their Braised Pork Belly. This dish is a masterclass in slow-cooked meat, with the pork belly so tender it just falls apart. The flavor is deep and rich, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory notes. I loved how the pork was cooked to perfection, with a crispy crackling on top that added texture and crunch.
The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, with dim lighting and comfortable seating. The decor is modern and minimalist, with clean lines and simple shapes. The tables are nicely spaced apart, allowing for a sense of privacy and quiet conversation. The overall ambiance is relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family.
Food is amazing. We tried 5 kind of dumplings and bao, all of them were amazing. Service was fast enough. We didn’t wait long since we placed and order…
Great place very good the atmosphere is nice you order everything on your phone and comes out quick.
Overall really good! Vegetarian dumplings could be better. Expect a long wait! I’d recommend sitting outside for better atmosphere.
