Welcome back, lovelies! Today I’m excited to share my latest culinary adventure with you all - a visit to Joy, the hidden gem on York Blvd in Los Angeles. This Taiwanese restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to spice up their dining routine, and I’m thrilled to dive into the details of my experience.
Located at 5100 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90042, USA, Joy is easily accessible by car or public transportation. The restaurant’s modern and inviting decor makes it perfect for date nights, family gatherings, or just a quick bite with friends. Don’t forget to try their signature Taiwanese, Coffee & Tea, Noodles dishes - you won’t regret it!
Today I had the pleasure of savoring the Pho at Joy, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer. This Taiwanese noodle soup is a masterclass in balance - rich beef broth, tender noodles, and fresh herbs all come together to create a dish that’s both comforting and invigorating. I added some sliced jalapenos for an extra kick, but honestly, the Pho stands on its own merit.
I’m still dreaming about the Halo-Halo at Joy! This Filipino-inspired dessert is essentially a towering masterpiece of sweet treats - shaved ice, sweetened beans, fruit, and creamy milk all combine to create a flavor explosion that’s both refreshing and decadent. It’s like a party in your mouth, and everyone’s invited!
I must admit, I was skeptical about trying the Biryani at Joy, but oh boy, was I wrong! This Indian-inspired rice dish is a symphony of spices - aromatic basmati rice cooked to perfection with tender chicken, fluffy eggs, and a blend of warming spices that’ll leave you feeling cozy and satisfied. It’s comfort food at its finest!
