Welcome to my blog, where I’ll be sharing my experiences at some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles! Today, I’m excited to share with you my visit to Caveman Kitchen, a Latin American restaurant that’s been on my radar for a while. With its unique blend of Peruvian and American flavors, I was eager to see what all the fuss is about.
Caveman Kitchen is located in the heart of Los Angeles, at 2215 S Vermont Ave Ste 101 Los Angeles, CA 90007. This vibrant restaurant serves up a fusion of Latin American and Peruvian cuisine with a modern twist. From their mouth-watering chicken dishes to their refreshing salads, every bite is a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor.
The chicken at Caveman Kitchen is mouth-wateringly delicious. I had the ‘Ceviche de Pollo’ which was a Peruvian-inspired dish featuring tender and juicy chicken marinated in citrus juices, mixed with onions, tomatoes, and spices. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous. It’s clear that the chefs at Caveman Kitchen take pride in their craft, as every bite was a testament to their skill.
The salad at Caveman Kitchen is a refreshing delight. I opted for the ‘Aji Amarillo Salad’ which featured mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and crispy plantain chips, all tossed in a zesty aji amarillo pepper dressing. The combination of flavors and textures was incredible, and the dressing added just the right amount of kick. It’s clear that Caveman Kitchen is committed to using only the freshest ingredients, as every component of the salad shone.
The sandwiches at Caveman Kitchen are a must-try. I had the ‘Lomo Saltado Sandwich’ which featured tender beef strips cooked in a savory soy sauce-based sauce, served on a crispy baguette with melted cheese and served with a side of fries. The flavors were expertly balanced, and the combination of textures was sublime. It’s clear that Caveman Kitchen has perfected the art of sandwich-making, as every bite was a delight.
Caveman Kitchen is a casual, relaxed restaurant with a focus on outdoor seating and local ingredients. The bar area features a large selection of drinks, including beer and cocktails.
