Me: I am a 34 years old married man, and proud father of my baby boy Noah who was born in September 2008, and another son Tobias who was born in January 2010.
My name is Thomas Lund. I have been married to my lovely wife Mia for 9 years. I am from the chilly country of Denmark. We “delivered” a few of the marvels of the world, like the settings for Hamlet, Gus Hansen, The Little Mermaid, H.C. Andersen, Tivoli, the foolish Muhammed drawings and we are actually the oldest monarchy in the world. You are all thinking this is the best country in the world and you are truly right ![]()
We also have just about the highest tax in the world, which we natually are very fond of.
My work: I work as a SharePoint consultant in Copenhagen in Denmark. I’m a trained Datatechnician from 2008 which is part programming, part networking and part servers. This is a hands on education and involves being an apprentice in a company for 5 years. I was an apprentice in a hardware company, and did not really touch any code unless I was in school, and after school, I started working in a web hosting company. Yet again no code.
I got an opportunity to work in a software company while joining the Microsoft Office Academy in 2008 and I went for it. This gave me some much needed lessons in ASP.NET and SharePoint. SharePoint was the whole point of the academy really. I now am certified in ASP.NET (70-528) and WSS administration (70-631) although it’s been a few years since I last looked into certifications.
This Blog: I have googled a lot during my time with SharePoint, and there are so many people contributing on the net. Now is the time for me to give someting back that hopefully at least a few will benefit from. If not then at least I can use this blog to help me remember the solutions for past problems I have faced and hopefully blogged about.
I will be making a lot of examples on how to do this and that. It will be about C#, SharePoint, ASP.NET and whichever topic I feel like writing a few lines about.
Besides this blog I have made a couple others, which I don’t seem to spend enough time with.
